This is the
sum total of outfit photos I've managed to take in the past two months. This
is mainly down to the fact that I've been wearing essentially the same things
all. the. bloody. time. I managed to buy quite a few bits for summer
before I left London,
but absolutely nothing for spring, which means I'm wearing the same few bits
over and over until it's warm enough for little skirts, sandals and sleeveless
tops. Looking at these however, I can't help but notice that almost
everything I tend to wear a lot is either quite old (both pairs of Beau Coops
boots) or from ebay/charity shops (my two bits of American Apparel, and my much-loved velvet
dungarees). I'm starting to think shopping exlusively secondhand is the way
forward...

to my footwear family, and they're both sensible as can be. I never thought I'd
see the day a new pair of trainers would make me happier than
impractical heels, but clearly fashion's current mood for shoes you can
run for the bus in has won me over. The first pair in particular are
the perfect thing to cheer me up on the greyest of days, and I'm trying
really, really hard not to buy them in the other colourway which has
just gone into the Asos sale. Can one have too many trainers? Is there anything you can't actually pair them with? (I've convinced myself the answer to the second question is definitely no, and my current favourite thing to wear is dresses and trainers. I really did not see this coming.)

Pink Crush
My obsession with the girliest of colours shows no signs of abating, despite the fact that I've yet to take the plunge and actually add it to my life anywhere apart from my nails.
Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos in Miu Miu's Resort campaign (despite none of it being my usual style, I want every single thing they're wearing), the feather dress from Dries Van Noten A/W '13, a collection I clearly was too hasty to dismiss at the time, pink lips and black nails, sold-out pink Nike amazingness...
